Make a rich, creamy Oreo cheesecake without turning on your oven. This recipe uses a simple Oreo crust and a smooth, stabilized cream cheese filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cups Oreo cookie crumbs (about 30 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies, for topping

Instructions

  1. Mix the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  2. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
  4. In a separate, clean bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Spoon the filling over the chilled crust and spread it evenly.
  7. Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until the cheesecake is firm.
  8. Before serving, remove the sides of the springform pan and sprinkle the top with crushed Oreo cookies.

Notes

  • For the best crust texture, use a flat-bottomed glass to press the crumbs evenly into the pan.
  • Ensure your cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • Chill time is essential for the cheesecake to set properly. Do not rush this step.
