Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
1/2 cup chopped green onions, divided
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted, divided
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix them together until the texture is smooth and fully incorporated.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is evenly distributed throughout the base.
Gently fold in the cooked, crumbled bacon and half of the chopped green onions.
Spread the mixture into a serving dish.
Sprinkle the remaining green onions and the toasted slivered almonds over the top of the dip for garnish and crunch.
Cover the dish and chill the Neiman Marcus Dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve cold with your favorite crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
To toast the almonds, spread them in a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and lightly browned. Watch them closely as they burn quickly.
You can assemble this dip up to 24 hours ahead of time. Keep it covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
For a richer flavor, use a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
