Make this simple, flavorful Keto Garlic Butter Salmon. It cooks quickly and stays moist, perfect for a low-carb weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. This is your garlic butter sauce.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil lightly over the salmon.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter sauce evenly over the top of each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite keto side dish, like steamed broccoli or asparagus.

Notes

  • To keep the salmon moist, do not overcook it. Check for doneness at 12 minutes.
  • For an extra rich flavor, you can pan-sear the salmon first for 2 minutes per side before finishing it in the oven with the sauce.
  • If you prefer a crispier top, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the garlic.
