A simple recipe for mixing cold brew coffee concentrate with lemonade to create a balanced, caffeinated summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee concentrate
  • 1 cup prepared lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup cold water or sparkling water (optional, for dilution)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: cold brew concentrate, lemonade, ice, and optional water.
  2. In a tall glass, add ice cubes to fill the glass about three-quarters full.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of cold brew concentrate over the ice.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup of lemonade into the glass.
  5. If you prefer a less intense flavor, add 1/4 cup of cold water or sparkling water now.
  6. Stir the mixture gently until combined.
  7. Taste the drink; if you desire more coffee flavor, add more cold brew concentrate in small amounts. If you want it sweeter or tarter, add more lemonade.
  8. Garnish the drink with a lemon slice and a mint sprig before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, use lemonade that already contains sweetener. If using tart homemade lemonade, consider adding 1 teaspoon of simple syrup to the mixture.
  • This recipe uses a 1:1 ratio of concentrate to lemonade. Adjust this ratio based on the strength of your cold brew and your preference for coffee intensity.
  • Do not add milk or creamer, as the acidity of the lemonade may cause dairy to curdle.
  • Use chilled ingredients for the best result.
