- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese for topping
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add meatballs to the skillet and brown them on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet.
