  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Stir in uncooked rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and broccoli. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Season with salt to your preference.
  8. Cover the skillet with a lid or foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the casserole is bubbly.
  9. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and lightly brown.
  10. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
