Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (Frank’s RedHot style)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing
2 tablespoons blue cheese crumbles (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie plate or small baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, cheddar cheese, and blue cheese or ranch dressing to the bowl. Stir everything together until it is well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
If desired, sprinkle the blue cheese crumbles on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a slow cooker version, combine all ingredients (except green onions) in a small slow cooker. Cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
Serve this spicy party dip hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.
You can prepare the dip mixture a day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Add 5 minutes to the baking time if baking straight from the fridge.
