Ingredients
Scale
2 lbs cauliflower florets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup milk
1 cup buffalo hot sauce
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup ranch dressing for serving
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Pour the milk into a separate bowl.
Dip each cauliflower floret first into the milk, letting excess drip off, then dredge it in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the coated florets onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 20 minutes.
While the cauliflower bakes, whisk together the buffalo hot sauce and melted butter in a medium bowl.
Remove the cauliflower from the oven. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
Return the cauliflower to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately with ranch dressing and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the cauliflower. Dip in milk, then flour, then milk again, and finally flour again before baking.
Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
Other dipping sauce options include blue cheese dressing or a simple yogurt-based dip.
