Ingredients
Scale
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Place the diced sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the oiled potatoes and toss again until all pieces are coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the seasoned sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously every 5 minutes, until the cubes are golden brown and tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the basket with cooking spray before adding the potatoes.
If you prefer a sweeter flavor, substitute 1/2 teaspoon of the paprika with 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar.
Do not overcrowd the basket; this prevents proper air circulation and results in steamed, not crispy, potatoes.
