Ingredients
Scale
1 lb frozen raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Place the frozen shrimp in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat lightly.
In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mix over the shrimp and toss again until evenly coated.
Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, open the basket, toss the shrimp gently, and continue cooking for another 2 to 4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque throughout. Total cook time is usually 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove the shrimp from the air fryer. Drizzle with the melted butter and toss one final time.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving immediately.
Notes
For extra crispy air fryer shrimp, ensure the shrimp are in a single layer and avoid adding too much moisture before cooking.
If you prefer a spicier flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
Use these cooked shrimp as an easy air fryer appetizer, or add them to salads, tacos, or pasta dishes.
